First Look at Poster Art for Ruggero Deodato’s CANNIBALS

Over twenty-five years ago, Ruggero Deodato assaulted the world with his brutal invasion of the Green Inferno. For those of you who have shied away from CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST due to all of the horrible things you have heard about it, you are probably better off. But I am one who always suggested the film when people walked into my shop looking for something “extreme”.

The film’s infamy garnered Deodato a permanent place among the kings of sleaze and now the man is back for another visit into the world of flesh-eaters in his new film CANNIBALS. With the tag line “This Time, They Are No Longer In The Jungle”, I must say I am very curious as to what he has in store for us. I doubt it will be as extreme but I hope Deodato is willing to go to jail again for his fans. That might just make my year.
