Spiral is a fantastic movie. Realistic and deeply uncomfortable, Spiral follows the life of the artistically gifted Mason: a telecommunication loner and all around superfreak.
DIRECTOR
Scott Thomas
STARRING
David Chisum, Kristen Kerr, Kevin J. O'Connor, Derek Webster, Raymond Barry
Flight of the Living Dead was the first movie I saw at Fantasia and it was by far, my favorite. Focusing on an air marshal transporting a flamboyant criminal, a rather standard flight turns deadly when a zombie is unleashed in the cargo bay.
DIRECTOR
David Arquette
STARRING
Richmond Arquette, Paz de la Huerta, Balthazar Getty, Redmond Gleeson, Lukas Haas
If you ignore the plot of The Tripper, it’s actually a solid slasher movie. Spawned from the mind of David Arquette, (you know, the guy married to Monica from Friends), The Tripper follows six modern day ‘hippies’ on their way to a free love festival in the woods.
DIRECTOR
Andrey Iskanov

Apart from the widely seen Night Watch, (Nochnoy Dozor, 2004), contemporary Russian horror films have seemed to be an endangered species on this continent. If Nails and Visions of Suffering are any indication, we now know why.
DIRECTOR
Tinto Brass
STARRING
Frank Finlay, Stefania Sandrelli, Franco Branciaroli, Barbara Cupisti, Armando Marra
The Key, Tinto Brass’ first attempt at pure eroticism, has hints of comedic elements that contribute to the allure and charm of the film. Its temporal setting does not dampen the atmosphere of The Key: 1940 fascist Italy.
DIRECTOR
Jim Muro
STARRING
Mike Lackey, Vic Noto, Bill Chepil, Mark Sferrazza, Jane Arakawa
The film STREET TRASH has always been one of my favorite movies to tell people about. You see, over the years it became a title that was very hard to find. If you did happen across the VHS video that Vestron released back in 1987, the tape usually had so much VCR head damage to it that it looked like someone had printed Braille on the tape surface.
DIRECTOR

Highlander, The Search For Vengeance, is an attempted revitalized installment of the Highlander Series. It is set against a backdrop of a post-apocalyptic world that has been despoiled by the effects of global warming and widespread terrorism.
DIRECTOR
John Hancock
STARRING
Zohra Lampert, Alan Manson, Kevin O'Connor, Gretchen Corbett, Mariclare Costello, Barton Heyman
You have to love a film that has the tagline, "Something is after Jessica. Something very cold, very wet... and very dead..." I picked up a copy of this DVD at the recommendation of Oddity guru Bavota San, and he was absolutely right, I loved it! Classic. It's bloody classic.
DIRECTOR
Brad Anderson
STARRING
Christopher Bauer, Laura Margolis, Blaine Anderson, Richard Kahan, Michael Daingerfield
Brad Anderson has quickly proven himself as one of the new Masters of Horror with only two genre films under his belt. SESSION 9 and THE MACHINIST were both psychological studies of how our own minds can sometimes create the worst possible horrors imaginable and his entry into the MoH series continues along these very same lines.
DIRECTOR
Tom Holland
STARRING
Lee Tergeson, William Forsythe
The killer ice cream man has been done before, but Tom Holland's We all Scream for Ice Scream throws in a little bit of Stephen King supernatural revenge topped with some Killer Klowns goofy sprinkles to make for a gooey and entertaining ride that will surely upset your stomach and possibly ruin your appetite... in a good way.
