Durham County review

Created by Laurie Finstad-Knizhnik and Adrienne Mitchell, DURHAM COUNTY tells the story of police officer Mike Sweeney (Hugh Dillon - HARD CORE LOGO, GINGER SNAPS 3) who has recently returned to Durham County, the place where he grew up. Recovering from the loss of his partner and dealing with his wife's recovery from what was expected to be a terminal case of breast cancer, Sweeney's move back to familiar territory as an attempt to help his family deal with things somewhat backfires.

Anchor Bay Announces Release Date for JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER

Anchor Bay will put out Canadian cult film JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER on DVD. They announced October 7th as the release date but no information on special features as of yet.

THE BEYOND is Finally Coming Back

Grindhouse Releasing has announced a date for their re-release of Lucio Fulci's masterpiece THE BEYOND. The film was originally released way back in 2000 by Anchor Bay but was discontinued about three or four years ago.

PHANTASM 4: OBLIVION DVD Art and Special Features

Anchor Bay will be re-releasing Don Coscarelli's PHANTASM 4: OBLIVION on August 26th. The DVD will totally outshine the stripped down version released by MGM a few years back so toss that one out and plan to add this one to your collection.

Masters of Horror: The Screwfly Solution DVD review

For season two of the Masters of Horror series, Joe Dante directs an adaptation of James Tiptree Jr's The Screwfly Solution. Jason Priestley and Elliot Gould star as two scientists involved with genetically modifying species of flies to help eradicate them and the problems they are causing.
