The Echo review

Horror movies can be pointless yet still score major entertainment and scare points. Sometimes, though, a horror movie is way too similar (even if this is said to be unintentional) to another film to be enjoyed and remembered on the basis of the above-mentioned points.

Trailer Park of Terror Coming to DVD

I had a chance to check out TRAILER PARK OF TERROR at Fantasia this past summer. It's a fun homage to old school horror flicks of the 80s and is worth a gander by genre fans. I have never read the comic book that it's based on but the film is supposedly quite different.

Official Poster for REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA

I didn't have a chance to see REPO! when it played at Fantasia this year. I have heard many mixed things about it and Simon Howell's review doesn't really make me want to see it but then again I am a glutton for punishment.

Machine Girl review

There are times when you simply want to ignore your thought processes and watch a movie for pure enjoyment. MACHINE GIRL (Kataude Mashin Gâru), directed and written by Iguchi Noboru who previously thrilled Fantasia audiences with SUKEBAN BOY, is that kind of film.

Site Redux for JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER

JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER has already earned its cult status as a modern Canadian horror phenomenon and it is well deserved. The official website for the film has had a complete overhaul to include tons of tender viddles to keep any fan occupied for a good chunk of time.

Flight of the Living Dead review

Flight of the Living Dead was the first movie I saw at Fantasia and it was by far, my favorite. Focusing on an air marshal transporting a flamboyant criminal, a rather standard flight turns deadly when a zombie is unleashed in the cargo bay.
