First Look at Sackhead Jason in New FRIDAY THE 13TH

Here is the first image released of Jason Voorhees in the new FRIDAY THE 13TH remake sporting the famous sack, originally seen in FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2. For those not in the know, the hockey mask only appeared in Part 3.

New FRIDAY THE 13TH Documentary Coming Soon

There have been little featurettes here and there about the FRIDAY THE 13TH series and Jason Voorhees but there have yet to be a definitive documentary about all and everything that is the hockey mask wearing super killer.

The Original FRIDAY THE 13TH Finally Uncut on DVD

We had mentioned before that there were talks about finally releasing FRIDAY THE 13TH uncut on DVD. People were pretty upset with the Crystal Lake box set that came out a few years ago.

Friday the 13th (2009) trailer

The Michael Bay produced and Marcus Nispel (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2004) directed re-imagining of Sean S. Cunningham's horror classic FRIDAY THE 13TH has finally got a teaser trailer online. I guess they call it a re-imagining because Jason, who was only the killer in part 2, and his hockey mask, which didn't appear until part 3, seem to both be implied as being in this version.

FRIDAY THE 13TH Uncut on DVD

After a panel discussion at Scare Fest in Kentucky where Adrienne King, Betsy Palmer, Harry Manfredini, Tom Savini, and Victor Miller spoke about the original FRIDAY THE 13TH, a representative from Paramount was heard to say, "the upcoming release of Friday the 13th on DVD would be fully restored and uncut..."

If any of you can remember way-back-when to 1987, you might just recall Friday the 13th: The Series. With no relation whatsoever to the films, the TV show focused two cousins who just inherited an antique shop from their uncle.
