Week of November 17th - The Beyond
From legendary Italian horror master Lucio Fulci come the ultimate classic of supernatural horror. A remote and cursed hotel, built over one of the seven gateways, becomes a yawning malevolent abyss that begins devouring both the bodies and the souls of all who enter in a graphic frenzy of gory crucifictions, chunkblowing chain-whippings, eyeball impalements, sulphuric acid meltdowns, flesh-eating tarantulas, throat-shredding demon dogs and ravenous bloodthirsty zombies.Posted by Mister Midnight
The Psychic review
This 1977 giallo (recently released on DVD in the fully restored European version) has introduced me to the mind of Lucio Fulci (Zombie, The New York Ripper) and you can bet I will be visiting his other works soon. I know when a film is something special when I cannot quite figure out as to why that is. THE PSYCHIC is that kind of special!Posted by Lee Boyle

THE BEYOND is Finally Coming Back
Grindhouse Releasing has announced a date for their re-release of Lucio Fulci's masterpiece THE BEYOND. The film was originally released way back in 2000 by Anchor Bay but was discontinued about three or four years ago.Posted by Bavota San
Crimes of the Black Cat
With heavy influences shining through from the likes of Italian horror maestros Dario Argento and Mario Bava, some suspense filled shower tomfoolery care of Mister Hitchcock and a funky seventies progressive rock score by Morricone wannabe Manuel de Sica, Sergio Pastore’s Sette Scialli Di Seta Gialla is pretty much a blatantly obvious pastiche of its influences. This is not entirely a bad thing as most euro-trash from the mid-seventies was derivative of everything else that came before it.Posted by Mister Midnight
