Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer review
There is something to be said about filmmakers who decides to pay homage to their favorite films by making movies in the exact same way. The people behind JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER were obviously raised on a diet of Sam Raimi, John Carpenter, Wes Craven and all of the other \"Masters of Horror\". And like Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro, they believe in keeping it real with prosthetic effects instead of the overdone and rarely good CGI that most new horror films have embraced.Posted by Bavota San

Masters of Horror: Right to Die DVD review
Some people get a little finicky with who is chosen for the MASTERS OF HORROR series, but honestly, if you have the ability to make one truly interesting horror film then I think you know what you are doing. Rob Schmidt is only known in the horror realm as the director of WRONG TURN, a film which took a tired old idea and actually did it right.Posted by Mister Midnight
